I'm going mental with this new cd by Franz Ferdinand.
The songs are from the old school of punk rock. You'll think of Ramones, Gang of Four, Buzzocks, Public Image etc. They are a Brit Award winning band. You'll think of old mod music. You'll think of classic British in the genre of Oasis, Blur and Kula Shaker with the bit of the bounce of mod era Who and a pinch of Iggy Pop. The songs get stuck in my head, especially "Take Me Out", "Jacqueline" , "This Fire" & " Darts Of Pleasure" then the minute their songs aren't in my head, I see the Play Station Portable commercial, which plays the catchiest part of "Take Me Out" and it's all over again for me. I go to bed with the tune in my head and sit at work with the tune in my head. Get a copy (AND GO MENTAL) today!
